Spooky Season, All Year
Halloween & Spooky Tattoos
Bats, black cats, vampires, skeletons, haunted manors and spiderwebs — tattooed inside a vintage taxidermy studio in River Falls, Wisconsin, about 30 minutes from the Twin Cities.

Halloween Flash & Seasonal Designs
We love this time of year. Seasonal flash sheets and spooky small pieces get announced on Instagram — October books up quickly, so reach out in late summer if you want an appointment during Halloween season.
Custom Horror & Occult Work
Prefer something of your own? Our artists design custom horror portraits, coffin scenes, haunted architecture, tarot imagery, and creature pieces in black and grey, dotwork, or neo-traditional.
A Shop That Looks the Part
Black Cat Tattoo is a cabinet of curiosities: mounted taxidermy and oddities, skulls, gilded cherubs, antique mirrors, and a salon wall of framed original art. It's a spooky shop on purpose — come look around.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you do Halloween flash days?
We run seasonal flash from time to time, including spooky designs around October. Flash promotions are announced on Instagram at @blackcattattoo.studio — follow along or reach out and we'll tell you what's coming up.
How far ahead should I book for October?
As early as you can. Fall books up fast, so message us in late summer if you want a Halloween-season appointment. We're appointment only, and a non-refundable deposit holds your spot.
Can I get a small spooky tattoo same day?
Sometimes. Walk-ins depend entirely on each artist's schedule that day — if there's an opening or a cancellation we'll happily fill it. Call or text 715-410-3802 first before driving out to River Falls.
What spooky designs do you tattoo?
Bats, black cats, moths, vampires, haunted houses, skeletons, coffins, spiderwebs, pumpkins, ghosts, tarot and occult imagery — usually in black and grey, dotwork, or neo-traditional.
Is the shop itself Halloween-themed?
Year round. The studio is a vintage taxidermy cabinet of curiosities — mounted oddities, skulls, gilded cherubs, antique mirrors, and framed original art. Clients are welcome to look around while they wait.
How old do I have to be?
18 or older, no exceptions, with a valid state-issued driver's license, state ID, or passport. You'll sign a state-approved consent form before your artist starts.
